Summer, with all those relaxing moments and lots of heat, has finally come. Some soda, a deck chair and internet connection is everything we need.
We think summer is too long and can get boring, why don’t you do something different? That’s why we invite you to our open meeting.
In this event we will play TeamFortress 2 by teams. For those who don’t know it, TF2 is a first person shooter, cooperative and exciting. It’s free to play in Steam, so you will only need to register to start playing. the event will take place in the Associations Hall down Block VII it ETSIST July, 31 in the afternoon. The 26 of September the members of AETEL will visit the facilities for digital fabrication of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. There we will be explained how to use (and we hope they let us use) computer controlled industrial machinery. We will be shown the differences between subtractive, abrasive, casted and additive manufacturing.
The Fab Lab (Fabrication Laboratory) is a workplace where tools are provided for personal use. It’s a space for production and experimentation used by DIY philosophy and makers where limits are placed by one itself.
